Form's not THAT big. But if IIRC, it did take about six months to get it " official " , so you're right about the wait. Sorry, kids, we can't convert it to our own purposes now, I killed it many years ago. MFJ If I have to be a grownup, can I at least be telekinetic too? Guest guest
Great Info, Tom. Any new local distribution business ought to do this right from the get-go, just as a safety measure. The tax breaks would really help somebody to get started too. Feeding God's Children has a nice ring.... We could have KC do a blessing over the phone.... If others do it for Ill, we can surely do it for Good. Guest guest
>Form's not THAT big. But if IIRC, it did take about >six months to get it " official " I seem to remember the form being about 37 pages last time I downloaded it for somebody. Six months seem about right, but add on another nine months if you try to convert an existing corporation with a financial history. But considering how long we're gonna have to wait to get state governments to stop listening to factory farm lobbyists and start listening to us, six months may be a short wait by comparison. Health is a spiritual value. And cleanliness is next to godliness. Tom

Guest guest
For the love of Staint . Who in the HELL (literal meaning) does the Government think they are? Sign some 501c3 corporation and bingo you are ordained! Let me check the Church Christ established is more then 2000 years old. 6000 if you go back to . Let see our puney little experiment is only 228 years old. I say God wins. Besides if you go for the 501c3 now all the politics (many little blood suckers) will have to go out the window. You think you have hassels from Burro- crats now. Just invite them into your world by having to fill out forms and meet thier requirements. The Amendment I of our own US constitution states....Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion. I would say the freaking IRS has it all wrong. The way I read it 501c3 is just plain unconstitutional and I wil gather to worship regardless what the IRS, UN, China or the King Gorge W. Bush has to say about it. I am going to go have a glass of contraban to settle down now.

Guest guest
I understand what you are saying " IT WILL SAVE YOU MONEY " . Please understand what I am saying. " WHAT GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIE HAS DONE ANYTHING TO SAVE; TIME; MONEY; OR MADE LIFE EASIER? " NONE! Don't go down that path. It is Far batter to keep the GOV out of your hair. My favorite line in the movie " Fiddler on the Roof " was whan the Rabbi was asked for a blessing for the CZAR. His reply was something to the effect " LORD bleass the CZAR and Bless Us by keeping him away! " Any Govenment program is like a dark alley of Jackbooted thugs. No matter what it looks like, how appealing it may be, you are going to regret the day you went down that alley. my sugesstion is..... Burry that idea and bury the shovel you burried that idea with. Guest guest
Besides all one has to do is look at the Church. All churches incorporated under the 501c3 laws. Now they are gaged and told they cannot endors any political leaders. Look at Spurgeon and Witherspoon and other founders of good solid churches. Got to SermonAudio.com. You will never here a preacher of today speak like that from behind any pulpit today for fear of retalliation from the government. It is sad. Furthermore. If a 501c3 incorporates guess what. A tax exempt orginization that becomes inactive of disabends. Where do the assets go? In the cast of an orginised chruch Back to the parent chruch. In the case of a smaller church....right back to the state. If the BSA were ever to disband. State run aution with the proceeds going to the general fund. you get nothing for free. DON'T DO IT!
