Hi Narmeena, I would consider the possibily of small intestinal bowel overgrowth when they react to prebiotics. Dr Sandberg- just spoke to us here in WI regarding SIBO and how to treat. Stool tests r not helpful. Need to use breath testing to diagnose it but the tx involves either an elemental diet (Vivonex product) or carbohydrate specific diet, probiotics, stuff to treat to small intestine bugs (rx or natural). Vivonex Plus is a Nestle product but ne says it works great. Also fasting is an option. I like GI Revive to heal mucosa. HMF Intensive has no FOS. I dont think the FOS is helping but rather fueling the bad bugs.Sent from my HTC smartphone on the Now Network from Sprint!Sent from my HTC smartphone on the Now Network from Sprint!

AMSubject: Q: Reactions to FOS and probiotics- What is the gentle solution?

Hi All, Just wondering from Jeiyi's comments regarding reactions to probiotics in already inflamed GITs. repair." I have seen reaction from several patients of mine having reaction from HMF with FOS. I wonder this "war" is good thing or not for patients already having inflammation in the Guts and autoimmune conditions. I prefer the easier and gentle solution. With the "war" going on, there is

always casualty, cell damage as possible result."What are the gentle approaches and what sort of protocols do you use with ultra-sensitive and already inflamed patients? How do you strengthen them without severely

weakening them first?Narmeena Dr. Narmeena SunderjiNaturopathic Physiciandr_sunderji@...
