Irradiation was Approved, but not Mandated, so I figure it's gone the way of Genetic Engineering, as these are all over in the food chain, without our knowledge.

Chicken has been tasteless for quite some time now, and this may be part of the reason. Ditto with very pink pork. Something about the irradiation process improves the color in this meat, so you just know they're doing it across the board in the large plants.
