Guest guest
Does she still have the bottle?..if so, perhaps you could make a homeopathic remedy from it.........Bob Dear Group, I have a desperate young woman (otherwise healthy) who several months ago used an 'older' bottle of zicam nasal spray and lost all sense of taste and smell right afterwards. MD's have put her on several courses of steroids and nothing is different. Do any of you know anything about this? I was looking to try and find what was in the old formula (apparently they changed the formula) to seeing what further I could do. I was wondering what pathway or what really is effected? What was it in the formula that they took out? I would appreciate any help past BTG. Thanks, Whittaker, ND
Guest guest
Alas, no. She threw the bottle away as soon as she had a reaction. Now she regrets it. It was February. Good thought though. That is why I mentioned that the company changed the formula. I'm still looking around for more information on the old formula. There must be someone in the ND community that has had experience with this. A number of people were injured several years ago.
