It's ok. KT cream acts as an exfoliant on the face, rather like those brutally expensive products one can buy. It also stimulates circulation, which supports skin regeneration. If your skin is sensitive or dry, leave it on only for a few minutes (under 5), whatever works for you. I have not found it to be drying over time, it actually seems to balance the skin. I like to rinse it off but not wash with soap. The bacteria in the KT cream seem to enhance the skin's acid mantle and induce healing of all kinds. hope this helps. --V ~~~ There is no way to peace; peace is the way ~~~~ --A.J. Guest guest
I had used a whole scoby on my face for 30 minutes twice a week. Since learnign about blending tea and scoby in blender I have done this once this week . and love it!! Thanks to whomever suggested. I have noticed a difference in skin texture it reduces fine lines and wrinkles and is making my " growing things " (after 50 things just appear out of no where) and it makes me meditate for 30 minutes twice a week!! I also used a whole scoby on my chest -- having been a sun baby there are skin things going on.. It has made a HUGE difference inside and out. I have however noticed when using the " applesaucelike " blender mix -- IF you get it in your hair its WORK to get it all out! Baker wrote: >I'm fairly new to kombucha and have loved drinking it. Guest guest
I mix K-Vin with some bentonite clay(dry), I think it's called Aztec Beauty Mask or something like that, but it's dry clay and I mix it with k-vin that has set out for over a month and it helps smooth out my face and cleared up my pores. I'm just getting started but i'm hoping long term use will help hide some of my facial scars. (They're not bad, being so old, but anytime I exercise it's like a red blotch on my face before the rest of me reddends). --ph > > I had used a whole scoby on my face for 30 minutes twice a week. Yes, the KT cream dissolved away bumps I had that had been diagnosed as benign but that I was told would continue to spread. > and it makes me meditate for 30 minutes twice a week!! I try real hard not to get the cream in my hair. Now, the KT liquid tonic is great for the hair tho --V ~~~ There is no way to peace; peace is the way ~~~~ --A.J. I have fairly hairy arms for a woman (hard to see them cos they are so light thankfully but) I won't even tell you what the KT applesauce mix looks like on them when it dries. :-# > yes indeed! I first rinse with water to get all the shampoo out, then I pour the kt over and barely rinse again with water, leaving a lot of the kt in. I love it. I love this KT!!
