Hiya, Everybody.

I was searching on the Internet, in the National

Institutes for Mental Health area, hunting for

new information on brain trauma / concussion.

While that search is still incomplete, i did

find a few interesting sites.

One is -

and it is described as follows:

- The Health Communication Resources site from Emerson

-College/Tufts University School of Medicine has a

-comprehensive section on Chronic Pain that provides

-useful short descriptions and links to relevant

-Internet sites in the areas of disease awareness

-campaigns, support for patients, facts and research,

-organizations, and publications.

A good site, worth a visit.

Another is-

and it is described as follows:

- Under the heading Pain Control, the Healthtouch site

-provides the complete text of lay education publications

-from the National Institute of Neurological Diseases

-and Stroke on topics related to chronic pain, cancer pain

-treatment, pain control after surgery, headaches and

-migraines, and back pain.

Also worth a visit.

A third is- [this one is FULL of links to other sites...]

- The Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives is an independent

-non-profit organization of more than 175 pre-eminent

-neuroscientists, including 6 Nobel Laureates. The sole

-commitment of the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives is

-to advance education about the personal and public benefits

-of brain research. It was founded in 1993 and is supported

-by The A. Dana Foundation. The Dana Alliance

-Internet site provides extensive information about the

-organization and about promising developments in brain

-research. Search this site for topics of particular interest

-to you.

I looked thru the archives and did not see these sites

anywhere. If this is a duplication, then,,

OOPS!

Be pain-free, stay pain-free.
