Grolsch bottles on ebay or buying from liquor store

Here's a couple listings-- I got a notice from ebay because I'd been

watching that other lot I posted about.

I also called the local liquor store and the 16-oz bottles of Grolsch cost

$2.33 apiece there, full of beer. It costs at least $3 a bottle through

mailorder homebrewing suppliers once shipping is paid. So any price under

$3/bottle is a good one (the Buy It Now above is $2.50/bottle).

I reckon the cheapest alternative (in the USA, at least) is buying the beer

at the store and dumping it out if you don't have a beer drinker available.

Thanks so much for this post. I am new to saving favorite searches on

ebay, so had forgotten to with the bottles. Well my son says he is

getting the rootbeer in those bottles for only $1.00 or less. My coop

in uptown is much more, so I will check the other coop.

Yes, Audrey, it certainly appears that the bottles can be had the cheapest

by buying them with beverages in; also if someone lives near a actual

shopfront for homebrewing supplies, you won't have to pay the
