Guest guest
OK, who knows what is the situation is. Are yogurts made from other than dairy products really dairy free and have the organisms in them the gut needs? In other words are they effective? Do we have some references? Thanks for your time. Guest guest
I do not have references, but I feel that the packaged soy and coconut yogurts available in the markets are very processed and high in sugar (even the plain varieties). I have some patients who make their own coconut yogurt at home, with a good starter (you can really use any high quality probiotic you like, so can choose one that is dairy free). There are instructions available online for how to make it. The coconut milk I recommend is Native Forest (no affiliation), since their cans are BPA-free.
