Hello and perhaps the protocol liberated some toxic material therefore the smell. Regards, WhiteND oh and what is the MTC format??

-----Original Message-----From: [mailto: ]On Behalf Of Prego, NDSent: Thursday, May 12, 2011 3:57 PMTo: Subject: weird smell

about a week ago, I started some homeopathics in the MTC formatt with a patient and he has started having a weird smell. This is what he says about it:

"I have had a strange scent that I keep smelling. The best I can describe it as is something close to an oil (like you would smell at an auto mechanic shop but almost sweet) or maybe a strong hair product. It began Friday morning and lasted all day and then disappeared Sat. and Sun. and returned Mon. for half the day and again on and off all day today. My allergies have begun to act up since I saw you but this has never happened before. I don't know if you have heard of something like this; not necessarily the specific odor I smell but the idea of smelling an odor internally, for lack of a better word."

I know that the homeopathics could possibly cause this but as I am doing MTC with him, the remedies he took on fri/mon, sat, sun, and tues were all different ones.

Any ideas? ND

Maybe, I didn't think of that.  But a ;sweet, oily' smell?  hmm.

MTC= Miasm, Temperament, Constitution.  It is a system developed by Dr. Gueniot and I was taught the basics of it by Dr. Abell at a weekend seminar.  Actually, I wonder if there ia a yahoo grou for docs using MTC...I'd have alot of questions :)

Ok, I will, although in the past I don't get many replies.  Alot of my questions are mainly patient specific..like figuring out between 2 miasms, or fitting a specific remedy for the patient when it doesn't match the miasm/temperament, etc.  I COULD use a bit more explanation of getting a feel for the temperaments.  I feel like I am being a bit too formulaic in choosing the temperaments and not exactly understanding them.

Hi Jim,I had a client who experienced this (before coming to me) a number of years ago. Basic drainage helped him, and he was on a program a pretty short time - one month or so.So, i am guessing he will move through this. Is he sycotic miasm? (holding patterns are evident with this, as the other suggested, he is probably liberating something and moving through something). Work included liver kidney and lymphatic drainage.Best to you,
