Guest guest
What if anything do some of you all do to help keep long term perinatal pts happy, in terms of patient satisfaction? We need some ideas for some of our long termers, I thought about having a person come once a week for manicure/pedicures something similar to break up the monotony. ANy ideas?? sue
Guest guest
When I was a charge nurse in a Level III perinatal unit a few years ago, we used to have a movie night once a week. Either the staff or pt's families would bring in some movies, and we would wheel everyone who wanted to go (even if on bedrest) on stretchers, or into one patients room, and they had a blast. Many had their families join in, and everyone enjoyed it. And everyone had a say in the planning of the movies, and the snacks. ------------Jeanine [OBnurses] question about perinatal pts What if anything do some of you all do to help keep long term perinatal pts happy, in terms of patient satisfaction?
