perhaps a relatively simple drug called hyosciamene might be effective against the nausea. I know of many cases where people on HIV meds were suffering severe nausea and none of the usual medications such as zofran or compazene were effective. These individuals were then placed on hyosciamene and the drug was very effective. However, it causes dry mouth. Dry mouth is a very dangerous condition. Without enough saliva, bacteria can run rampant in the mouth and tooth decay can occur at an alarming rate.

"The original version of Invirase (saquinavir) available in 1997 is wellrecognized as the least effective protease inhibitor ever produced, evenwith Norvir added. Crixivan is a superior antiviral, even all by itself."Actually, while the hard-gel capsule was ineffective as monotherapy, in boosted therapy, it proved superior to the later soft-gel capsules.  In any case, it's a dead horse, as the newer capsules have supplanted both.    Crixivan certainly is better as unboosted therapy, but this, too, is an obsolete question.  Nobody does it. Hi, when I first started drinking it this go-round (3-4 months ago) I felt a

slight bit of nausea. I cut back a bit, and then it didn't bother me. Now, I

drink about 12-16 ozs most day (over the day, not all at once) w/out problem.

Regards,

Bruce

Suki,

Could your brew be more acidic than GT's?

Yes. Suki, was this the stuff you brewed for 30 days? It's probably too

acidic, too vinegary. The GTs was brewed at very low temperatures under

highly controlled environment. Yours was brewed into vinegar while that

brand is still a young beverage. It's being too harsh on your stomach and

system, whatever it is.

I have one book on KT, which I got at the annual yardsale for the senior

center. In it, Herald Tietze says that while long-brewed, acidic kombucha

is still healthful, it is too bitter for most people to drink very much of,

and therefore one doesn't get as many of the nutrients and effects.

Also, in winter, people's systems are more fragile, and what may be

refreshing in the summer can feel downright destructive in the winter.
