Any tips for excess sweating?  I have a 30 yo female patient who reports sweating even when she is cold, and even at times when she does not feel nervous, though it tends to be worse when she is nervous.  She also complains of depression, which is currently managed somewhat by Zoloft.

Plan is to calm/balance her nervous system via herbs/ homeopathic drainage, but any other clinical pearls welcome. We may decide to do some neurotransmitter testing if she can afford. Thanks and be well,

Aside from the fact that Zoloft can cause excess sweating, I have also found that all the patients I have treated with the problem of excess sweating were all very toxic, and were totally cured by continual liver/kidney drainage, and of course, treating the gut and proper diet.It goes without saying that other drugs can be questionable as well even if excess sweating is not reported as being a typical "side effect". For instance, one such patient was using BCPs (Birth Control Pills), and once she stopped the BCPs, her sweating was alleviated. Of course, the skin being a secondary emunctory would be having discharges if the primary emunctories are congested. So, BCPs were plugging up her liver; thus the detox through the skin!
