Irene: I have surgery Feb 9. I stayed in an Extended Stay in Denver after

our house closed and it was pretty grim. They did have walk in showers with a

bench though. They brought me in a regular chair. You can see their web page

with a tour I think. I am making the decision where we will stay this week so

your inquiry was timely. I think I want to stay in Bakersfield. I have to

be there by Feb 2.

There is lots of information about the motels from the group. I will look

some up and send it to you. I just got our DSL line about two hours ago and so

I am a little slow catching up.

Thanks Marla, I don't know why it is so hard for me after surgery but I was in

screamin pain in the stomach incision area right after surgery and they MADE me

lay semi upright in the bed and I wanted to stand up because of the pain but

they wouldnt let me. after a couple hours of that I finally kicked my husband

out of the recliner and got in it myself. this time I WILL NOT lay down on the

bed but go directly to the recliner. Is there anyone else that had this problem?

I think it's due to my fat fat belly!!!!!! Is there any other motel with a

recliner in the room? Thanks!
