Absolutely, Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is nothing short of a Miracle

towards regaining and maintaining good health. I start off every day with my

OACV- diluted of course with a bit of maple syrup(pure) , then grab a glass of

KT, and from there a glass of Kefir. The OACV is repeated every few hours

throughout the day ( whenever convenient). I even take a jug of it pre-diluted

to work with me. LOL my coworkers dig into it too- I got several of them

started on it and they love it ( not the taste- but what it does for them.)

Im not so generous with my KT yet- I keep that one under wraps, I do take a

jug of Kefir with me for break time and lunch- they won't touch that so Im

safe.

Now Im starting to brew the ginger beer and other water kefir concoctions.

Needless to say I no longer have to take ANY medications, either prescription

or OTC. None at all - Im really thrilled about that, no more pain, no

more sinus, no more drippy nose, no more itchy ears, no more headaches, no

more swollen joints and feet. My BP is normal without any assistance.

I eat only organic fruits and vege's and occasionally meats ( buffalo

preferred). And WooHoo we finally have our RAW MILK available in the

stores again.

My current consumption of KT is about 1 qt daily, but some days do a bit more

depending on availability. Im doing 2.5 gallons in the continuous brewing

cycle and another gallon the normal way.- this way I always have enough for

whatever I choose to consume.

Im in love with all types of ferments, currently doing Caspian Sea Yogurt(

small amts) and just received my batch of Koji

so will be doing Miso soon. The organic soybeans arrived last week. AND

am about to start a batch of sauerkraut - regular at first then going to try

some Kefirkraut.

All of these things enhance your immune system by building up your body's

defenses, each does it in a different way, but they all work together in

harmony. I feel better, eat less, and my weight is slowly but steadily going

down without any sort of diet. I eat what and when I please, but have

noticed the cravings for sugar are gone, junk food - even the thought of it

makes me sick. My body wants and craves the good stuff now and it tells me

when its had enough so no more overeating.

However, if you let it ferment until it turned into KT vinegar, it might prevent

the flu.

I do believe that drinking apple cider vinegar and honey wards off the flu and

other viruses. I think it also stops the flu in its tracks.

I can't remember when I last got the flu. I got a temperature of 101 degrees F

in about l974. My healing daughter prayed over me, and my fever went away in

less than one-half hour.I've had the flu shots only twice, because the senior

center required it to eat there.

If I were exposed to bird flu or any other virus, I would immediately taka a

tall glass of warm water with 1 Tbs. of vinegar and 1 or 2 Tbs of honey. Out of

honey, I use sugar.

I did that lalst night when my yard man spoke to me thru the door, saying his

wife had such a bad virus that she had to go to the ER. They did fix her up. He

said there is an epidemic in Frederick, Md.

Once a cousin had been sick with a cold for weeks. I suggested vinegar and

honey, and he recovered almost immediately. I accidentally gave him a check made

out to VINEGAR, and he tried to cash it Ha..

Years ago I read Dr. Jarvis' book, " Vermont Folk Medicine. " He said vinegar and

honey would cure food poisoning. Once I had stomach cramps so bad that they

would have lasted a week. I drank vinegar and honely, went to a card party that

night, ate chips and dip and didn't get sick.

He suggested taking one teaspoonful of vinegar with one teaspoonful of honey

before meals to lose weight and take away varicose veins. I took it for six

weeks and it did neither, but took away my menstrual cramps for years. They

returned once, and I ran for the vinegar bottle.

Blessings on you all. LOve. MArge.

P. S. There's another weird thing. If there were an epidemic of smallpox with no

vaccine, I would do as the British did long ago. I would cut s slit in my chest,

grab a smallpox scab from someone and insert it in my slit. Immediate vaccine.

If any of these wild suggestions ever help you, please tell us.

I can't stand commercial pop anymore, it is sickening to taste. I

still love my pies and jellies though. I canned a lot this year. A

friendly neighbor brought me a bucket of apples again so I am drying

more for my water kefir and making some more apple butter. I have

that recipe down pat now :). I just started canning this year and

have a full pantry. I go to the store and there is so little that I

need anymore. I am trying to get set up for a dairy cow or goat. I

am not sure that I am ready for that kind of commitment yet :).

Thinking..... I love the kt and I think I took it out of brewing too

soon this last time, it builds a new scoby overnight! and is still a

bit sweet. Oh well, live and learn. I left some too long but with a

dab of water and molasses, it was grand. I hope everyone is happy and

well and enjoying life. Zoe, you are inspiring :).

What I heard was that they mostly tried deliberately to get COW pox, which

might have protected them from SMALL pox.

If this is not true, please advise me. Not that I'll WANT cow or small

pox,

I was probably inoculated as a child.

The way you can tell is if you have one of those scars that so many have,

the smallpox vaccine scar. I never formed the scar and they kept giving me

the vaccine over and over again until it was finally realized that I have a

natural immunity to smallpox which is why the vaccine never " took " .

But Pat, you should have a scar, you know the one, I don't know how to

describe it. Usually on the upper arm, sometimes given on the trunk of the

body or elsewhere to avoid the disfigurement on the arm.

Thanks, I looked and didn't find one. I'll look in stronger light than the

one

I have near the computer. Then if not, I'll discuss it with my doctor.
