Hi Gibran-  Just a couple of things to consider:the gut/sinus connection...I would order a GI panel and correct imbalancethe sycosis induced by the long term use of the birth control pill...treat with indicated single remedies

good luck

Hello drainage folks,Maybe one you brilliant people out there will have some guidance for this case.

I have a non-obese 23yo female with a 4 month history of tenacious sinusitis (chronic sinus pressure, pain and congestion). Onset post short term flu.

Negative for nasal polyps/seasonal allergies, and negative for hx of multiple acute otitis as a child.

Currently avoiding dairy and gluten due to these exacerbating her condition. Non-smoker, nor does anyone around her.

9 year history of oral contraceptives. Cycle returned within month after gyn UNDA prescription and seed oil

rotation. She following many of the other relevant basic treatment guidelines including daily hot/cold contrast to the face and morning netti pot.

I have treated her with UNDA prescriptions for Liver, Lung, Gyn hormones, and most recently two different drainage prescriptions for closed spaces (eg unda 710). Acupuncture and spinal manipulation reduces the severity of the sinusitis for only a few days.

Thanks for any pearls of wisdom on this case!

Xylitol nasal spray can help any leftover bacteria or pollen/environmental

particles from sticking to the mucosa while continuing the drainage. Also, low

level laser therapy can significantly help reduce inflammation and bring fresh

blood/lymph to the area a bit more concentrated and precise than hydro. I know

Sheryl Estlund is still using laser on her Sat shift at NCNM - it used to be

$30, but I'd call to see if the prices have changed.

I just saw this email and had been thinking since last night of passing on this note to group:I spoke to a client yesterday who said "they Unda 31" was clearing up her sinuses. I thought she was speaking of pyrogenium plex because I had sent that to her when she had an acute sinus issue. I don't use either of these regularly, so was very pleased to see this. She did not mean pyrogenium but was certain it was Unda 31.Unda 31 includes in it's area of impact gastritis and ulcers. What a great lesson for her (and me) of this very direct connection between the gut and sinuses. Was her short term flu at "gut bug"; well or even if it was a respiratory bug?
