Guest guest
Dear Ones, It's unbelievable that it has worked for ten years. I'll bet none of you have ever tried it. I don't take the scobies off the brew until I have all the utensils ready. Then I dip it quickly into my Welclh's gallon glass grape juic jugs. I put a thick layer of plastic that you would ship KT in under the little lid,, screw it on tightly and put it in the refrig. Weeks later it still has the same fizz and buzz and never ever sours. And I keep four separate strains going.. LOve. MArge.

Guest guest
Hi there, Forgive me for sounding so slow, but since I'm new to this, would you explain this to me in more details? What utensils do you use? Do you remove the scoby from your brewing jar then place it IN the jar you will drink from? Or is the jar you drink from a large container that you pour your KT from into individual cups? " Then I dip it quickly into my Welclh's gallon glass grape juic jugs. " Is this the jug you drink from? and do you layer the scobies you put in? I don't understand and want to because I LOVE the fizz and LOVE it when it's less sour. thank you!! > My way of storinlg KT is a marvel. Guest guest
I do not have any starter tea. Must I have this to start my own first batch? Can the culture be frozen then thawed out in room temp and still be effective. How do I know the culture is a vigorous culture? Thanks, Dina My way of storinlg KT is a marvel. Guest guest
as long as you have a scoby you can add 1/2 cup vinegar. I've never tried to freeze it, it might kill the scoby.
