Guest guest Posted January 29, 2003 Report Share Posted January 29, 2003 My son was diagnosed by a psychologist in Nov. They referred us to a neurologist. He basically did the whole put a bead on a string stuff and referred us to a pediatrician that specialized in development. They told me we would have to pay over $700 for an evaluation. I already have a diagnosis. Is this necessary? I want him tested for all the other things that autistic children tend to have problems with, but I can't imagine why this needs to be done again.
