Breaking through

I am not clear I asked but I will have to get the answer in writing anyways

aparently this school district dies not offer in home family support. I

talked to Angel's vision teacher tonight. I beeped her lol. I feel some

better actually. I told her everything that is happing at home about it

causing marital problem which without support will end up in divorce I told

her in depth about just how serious the sleep problems are and that if it

continues this way because I am human I would surely crater and then I asked

her point blank, " then what will become of my child? " I tugged on her heart

strings enough I think finally she is going to help us. She did agree to

honor my request for an IEP review and placement ARD. She is going to get me

some books and help me set up a special sensory room in made for a

blind/autistic child of course lol I asked for all of these plans to be in

writing so there is no further dispute. There were a million other things

discussed in this phone call like respite, books for parents of a

blind/autistic child etc... Once I get all of this in writing which she say

will come Monday then I will feel much better. I learned about the

" behavioral plan " she finally disclosed this seemingly, " top secret

information " Lol, yep most of it was talking to her which may relieve

tention from her but it's not working for Angel so she has agree to consult

the ABA teacher as well for help. I talked to her about the diet and my

income and enzymes etc She agreed to get more resources for us and was

flabergasted to learn that we have no respite at all muchless support for

funds for the diet, enzymes etc... I cannot thank you guys enough for all of

the information pouring in without this list I couldn't have even asked for

an ARD plain and simple I didn't know how if not for that request I wouldn't

have had a chance to talk to this teacher. If nothing becomes of the

promises well at least I feel better venting I was able to laugh and cry and

get points across like never before that gives me a little more strength to

deal with both my children. I am most greatful to those who choose to reach

out to me further than this list in private emails. I will keep you posted

on what becomes of it all and even whether or not my marriage will end or

divorce or be rescued due to you guys reaching out in the first place. I

even went as far as to get her to do me a favor and to work close with the

speech teach to break Angel's echolalia and her fixations on her words as

this is pretty bad she sounds down right inappropriate at times which could

and has caused greater problems already in the past and it's getting even

worse. I also learned that one of Angel's personal aids has been diagnosed

with Cancer she will no longer be with Angel and this has caused big changes

which has caused alot of her regression. So if nothing else you guys are

leading me in the right direction. Again thank you!!!!
