We have produced a couple hundred of these devices, and have used 1, 2, 4, and

even 8 ignition coils.

There is a cheap and easy way to get much more power: Put a 50K pot in series

with the line from the frequency source to the Darlington. Disconnect the

ground end of the tube from the system ground and insulate it. Attach a foot

plate to the system ground. The bare feet or other body area can go on the foot

plate, and the tube can be held in the hand or applied to the treated area. So

now, all the power that lights the tube must come through the body of the person

being treated.

CAUTION: Start with the 50K amplitude pot turned down, and then turn it up

until the desired amount of sizzle is felt.
