Guest guest
Fermented soy foods are acceptable foods because their phytates, trypsin inhibitors and enzyme inhibitors are removed. However unfermented soy foods, such as tofu, should only be consumed as small condiments and should not be used as a meal replacement. Due to the amount of processing that leaves harmful substances and the high amounts of enzyme inhibitors tofu should be avoided. Miso, tempeh and natto are acceptable soy products in moderation. http://www.westonaprice.org/soy/ploy.html (Talks about history and marketing of soy) http://www.westonaprice.org/soy/darkside.html (Talks a lot about isoflavone content in soy)
