Guest guest
The Furby website doesn't tell you much. If you see that little weird looking creature there, it is a " state-of-the-art, electro-mechanical, robotic toy " . It has a light sensor, a front sensor (for tummy tickles), an inside sensor to know if it's picked up or turned upside down, a back sensor for pets, and a sound sensor. It comes with a Furbish to English dictionary. It goes through 4 stages of development. Eventually it ends up able to speak English. It asks you to feed it: " Kah a-tay " and opens it's mouth, then says " yum yum " when you put something by it's mouth. " Koh-koh " means it wants more. If you don't feed it, it gets sick. I swear I'm not making this up. I don't remember how much they cost but I think I paid around 40.00 on sale. It goes to sleep, plays games, does tricks, and will communicate with others like it. I was thinking that to introduce it as a " pet " to keep them company might be a good idea. (still ducking)
