Guest guest
Not to mess up any deals, but can someone tell me why these have to be so expensive? Are the parts that expensive? the labour? the interface to software? the software? Actually that is about half price. Hundreds of hours of man labor go into these machines. The builders hardly get compensated. They are not mass produced. Most Electrical engineers would not do this work to help others, and I am thankful that there are those that will. Actually, i consider that a good value for the $. Pharmaceducials are costing some folks hundreds of dollars a month, and several thousand a year. Americans are used to Wall mart, and mass production from foreign labor.

Tubes are worth $200-300 the electronics are about $500 -1000 then you need to put it all together and make it work. Thats why I am trying to make a cheap controller. Guest guest
Thanks so very much for the explanation. I can understand it a bit better now at least. These plasma tubes, what exactly are they? And where should one look for them? I just want to get into it a little bit more, learn a little bit more, and eventually... maybe make one, if i think i can do it and do it reasonably in every way. > Because they are hand made!
