You probably pnly want one signal...two has the potential for producing a " binaural " beat frequency if not perfectly in-sync I would imagine.... 1/2 volts probably gets " eaten up " in skin resistance if you're using a pad set-up....What is your set-up anyaway? If you don't explicitly tell freqgen to use the left speaker then it only uses the right speaker. By default, the right speaker outputs the generated frequency, and the left speaker is used to control waveshaper hardware, such as Ralph Hartwell's variable duty-cycle waveshaper.
