Guest guest
<< My doctor has had difficulty finding this orally. Any suggestion on where we can get it? >> Most compounding pharmacies will put it in capsules if the doc wants it that way. I'm suprised he is having trouble finding it - just call some compounding pharmacies and ask. Especially ones like College Pharmacy, Apothecure, Falls Pharmacy (1-877-392-7948). Falls pharmacy will even put the ALA in the capsule with your DMPS or DMSA if you want it that way. Andy
Guest guest
To all who decide to post the past 25 or so messages from the past posts on their replys to the list..because they dont know a fast way to delete everything before writing their reply... this is how to do it: 1> Click on your reply button (to make a new email) 2> Click on your 'EDIT' key on your new email 3> Click on SELECT ALL 4> Click on Delete on your key board. This will clear all old messages so we dont have to scroll down past 25 old messages in order to get to the new ones. Now..to all who may get in a huff cause i wrote this....dont...i just learned how to do this 2 weeks ago (i used to do the copy it all, then delete it all thing for 6 yrs!!)..Its fast, efficient and keeps the digest smaller and less of a hastle to scroll down old messages. Guest guest
In our state it is very hard to move anything through insurances, not to talk to about helmets. the first parents that had to do this were in a very hard situation. but our primary prescribing physician, on our advise, started attaching a letter of medical necessity to every prescription. a few latin terms in it usually worked out fine. so, this letter is the best way to go. i do not believe that any of the teenage biurocrats working for insurances for $5.75 an hour will be impressed with photos, but they will have a reason to say " you see, i thought it's all about looks " . if your prescribing MD does not have a clue what to write, ask your orthotist to write one for him, we usually know how to do this. remember - cosmetics are NOT covered by insurances, but MEDICAL NECESSITIES are. good move is to write in the letter " low cost helmet treatment now will allow to avoid possible costly surgeries in the future " . it's a good catch. the first few months of our helmet making were " rusty " insurance wise, but then we noticed that they got used to the idea and now it goes easily, unless we occasionally hit some unknown insurance. good luck, pioneers path is always tough.. :-) --- In Plagiocephalyegroups, " dukceylima " <dulceylima@m...> wrote: > Have you sent any photographs?
