Guest guest
is my friend. We emailed each other, instant messaged each other, and spoken on the phone. The first time I met her in person- was after her revision, in the waiting area. We knew who each other were immediately, as though we had been friends from high school. The next time I saw was after she was in ICU in Delano. I made several special trips to see her, and although it was questioned if she knew I was there, I believe she did. FINALLY, I remember the visit when the nurses told me she was awake. I had taken a little stuffed dog..told her it was her watch dog..that it wouldn't let anyone give her any crap. couldn't talk- but when I pointed at the dog, and asked her if she knew where it came from- she pointed to me and smiled. Later, when she could speak....she was always optimistic- she never said one ill word about the surgery...or her choices. She was more concerned about her son Jamison and her mom. I had recieved an email from , saying she was doing much better- apparently...things changed. is my friend. I wish that I had been a better friend to her...not loosing track of her and her situation. I know that her family was a great support to her- but I am sad that I did not have the opportunity to display my support to her. is my friend- and I will miss her- she just reminded me to always be a better friend. ~Sandi Grover Beach CA
