Guest guest
Hi Cari, I think all GNC stores have the gold card policy, thats how you get the big breaks. As far as symtoms, I can feel a little pulling from time to time but its in the same area. I have a soft spot off to the side of my incision (a couple of inches out) & then I have a muscle that I can follow like a ridge & goes right by my where my left drain hole was. it does not bother me that bad at all really I just don't want it to get worse & become a hernia if its really not one already. I have never been to a group meeting, I would have to go to Sacramenro as its the closest one to me. Do they have a body composition analyzer at these meeting to weigh on? i have been weighing myself after a Dr. Appointment & then as one week goes by I weigh & count how many pounds down I am & add it to my weight loss. I am 2 1/2 months post op & I last another 4 lbs. last week to make my new loss total 62 lbs. Let me know next week how much you have lost ok. I never had the I thought I was going to die feeling, Maybe poop myself to deathLOL!!!!! I was on the out of town patient program so my wife & I took our 5 th wheel trailer to the campground in pixly. Its got all the comforts of home plus I put my recliner in it before we left. It has a 14 foot slide out & is 29 feet long. It really saved us a lot of money plus Dr K. let me come home a week early Because I was doing so well. As soon as I got home I was walking around the block but it was very slowley that I walked. Now I have joined a gym & have my last session with my personal trainer on thursday. Hope I get my muscle mass by lifting weights & hope the cardios melt the fat away sooner. Thanks for the reply Mike Cari Cosyns wrote: Hi Mike...I drank the Pro Blend 55 Vanilla and after a few weeks of drinking that with soymilk I thought I was going to hurl everytime I smelled it. SO never again will I drink that! :-) We have a Vitamin Shoppe here in Fresno and when I went to purchases the Isopure the other day...I found that the Vitamin Shoppe was much cheaper than GNC. But that sounds like a good deal if you do in the first 7 days. I wonder if it is like that everywhere? As of my 7th week...I had lost 49 pounds. I haven't weighed myself since them and I am now on my 11th week. I think I might go to Delano next week for the group meeting and I will weigh then. As of about the 5th week I was feeling pretty much back to normal. I was not sitting aornd my house all day and I was getting ready and going off with friends. During those first few weeks I thought I was going to die! I haven't had any problems either. Dr. K was very impressed at how I was healing which made me feel relieved. My biggest fear is a hernia. What symtoms are you having? I only still feel tenderness " sometimes " inside. Do you still feel like you are swollen? I had lap and I still feel like it is not back to normal where the hand opening was. As for the poops and tummy aches...yep only when it is brewing! I am actually very impresses with this surgery and with what you can eat so soon out. All I know is I just adore Dr. K. I had never had any type of surgery before and he really made my experience " in pain " more comfortable! Talk to you soon Mike. -Cari joker_686971 wrote: Thanks Cari, Everything is going great. I have never had any stomach upset except for way far down when a poop is brewing LOL!!! I live in Stockton, Ca. about 3 1/2 hours away from Delano. I really like the problend 55 protien shakes strawberry is my favorite.I mix it with half (4 oz)of water. Gotta go get some more at GNC. They give you 40% off if you buy in the first 7 days of the month. I'm 45 & don't want to loose my hair eighter. How is your post-op experience going, any problems? How is the weight loss going? Guest guest
Hi Mike...well you sure did have the set up in Pixly. I am glad I didn't have to stay in the hotel. Fresno was close enough so I got to go home. Yes they do bring their special scale to the meetings. Congratulations on your loss. 62 is awesome. I might just be in competition with you here since our dates are so close!!! Hee hee :-) Well take care of yourself and I will inform you of the new number next week!!! Talk to you soon. -Cari Mike King wrote: Hi Cari, I think all GNC stores have the gold card policy, thats how you get the big breaks.
