In order for NPR to put it out there, they have purchased a computer server with licensed software (from Real Network and Windows Media) that 'streams' the audio file to our computers on demand. That's true, but if you use a program like " TotalRecorder " , you can record it anyway, as it travels from the RealPlayer to your sound card.
