Reasonable question. There are a couple of steps to get there. Log on to

www. or www.onelist.com (I still use onelist). Select the My

Groups icon, then Chronic Pain. There should be a left side bar that has a

list of group features. on it click File Area & Voila! (hopefully).

Everything is listed alphabetically. My Readme's give you the file names to

select in 2 flavors; Word (.doc)or .txt. All the .txt files have been made

to keep most of the formatting.

By the way, Hi!

Hi,

My reply to Patty pretty much explains it. But there are decent

help directions on the list site. Surprised me last night.

If I have to send stuff out, I will, but I need a breather.

And who the hell wouldn't be depressed?!!! In

pain and miserable all of the time. Its such a

Stupid question. Are you depressed?

No of course not doctor. I don't want to be

shuttled off to the nut house so of course I am

going to Lie and say No of course not. Just give

me my meds so I can continue to not function and

let me Leave This Place Now. Please.

Otherwise I will engage you on a discussion of

depression being asked of someone who feels like

they were stepped on by a truck yet still has to

go to work and function, be happy cheery &

positively Bouncy.

That's actually the point. Social Security will grant disability much more

easily for Major Depression than chronic pain. so the idea is to get the

depression well documented, which most applicants fail to do.

That's a very good idea. Although, I had mine VERY well documented and

still was denied. I've had depression written in my medical records since

1995, and they still said no. Any thoughts on how to make it more clear to

them (SSD)?

Yes I have, and he agreed I have severe depression (at least that's what he

said to me). They aren't going on that, unfortunately. What they are going

on is the fact the I have worked in the past and I'm currently enrolled in

school with a 3.98 GPA. I am taking classes in accounting, and I've already

worked in the field. I guess they don't distinguish between work and

school. Any thoughts on that?

You should not be penalized for being intelligent & studioud. You

need to make a case that your learning situation is totally unrelated to a

work situation. You can study & schedule classes when your mind is more

clear. But you cannot adjust the demands of work to true severe chronic

depression, if that's what you have. If that's not what you have, and you

have no physical limitations that meet disability criteria, there is no case.

Forgive me if there is more history on the list about this. I am reading

posts kinds " hit & run " right now, because I have been very occupied for

the past week.
