<><<<><><><><><><I'll take your word for it..... And in another vein

apparently plants with higher Brix do better too. High Brix

indicates higher CHO's. And the bugs don't like the higher Brix plants

(which indicates a healthy plant?)so bugs stay away from these

plants. Mighty interesting! Dennis

Um...yeah, right. That's what low carb diets do, too.

And therein lies the problem, there are more high fat high carb

products out there to make " dieters " fall off the wagon. Potatoes are

high carb, but bland unless you put the (high fat) butter and sour

cream and bacon on them. Rice and bread, too, usually need

embellishment.

Note the weasel words like " higher " and " lower " . I'll wager they weren't

comparing this (unsustainable disaster) diet with an actual bona fide

low-carb diet.

Hi ,

The " low carb " diet was an exercise in absurdity. Here are portions of the

menus for both diets. Anyway I hope that's not a complete menu for low-carb.

" The high-carb diet included lots of fruits and vegetables (much

more than the low-carb diet), as well as high-fiber cereal and

vegetarian chili. But the menu for the low-carb group included

macaroni and cheese and French fries! And on an all-you-can-eat

basis! "
