You're both taking positive steps to reinforce your losses, which really means your success. I had a lousey Christmas. No family. Took an alcoholic friend to dinner at her Moose Lodge - had 2 drinks that put me on my ear - and took her to another of her friends' place where she got bombed. But I came home and moped around my place. It's not much fun to have 5 kids and find yourself alone on holidays. Tomorrow morning I drive to Rancho Cucamonga (about 300 mi.) to a daughters', to see my grandson and his bride. Next day on to Torrance to another daughter's and to see my dearest 86 yr old lady friend for dinner. Then my holidays will be complete. Home by train on the 30th. Alone New Years Eve. Why couldn't I have been born beautiful instead of rich? Or rich instead of beautiful? Back to work at Target 1/1/05. Bobbe - <128 pounds> from 268.5 at DS 3/12/03. But, I'm glad you'll get to see your grandson and his wife and spend some time with your friend before the holidays are completely over.
