Guest guest
Based on my experience - YES! I had killer PMS 2 weeks before my period and was generally irritable at all times while I was rapidly losing weight. And Yes, I kept a bumpy rash on my chest and along my hairline on my face for as long as I was losing. When the rapid weight loss slowed my mood improved and the rash went away. I still have bad PMS though. Hang in there! It will get better. It just may get worse before it gets better. I tried antidepressants and they were not effective. I went into counseling for a while - that helped a bit - mostly just to vent. hugs, cindy lee > I have noticed a rash on my chest and behind my ears. For me, it was a Vitamin A deficiency and responded to supplementation with beta carotene. Meanwhile, before I had my A tested, I used a steroid cream to calm it down. On it, I become very, very lethargic. My pcp changed me to Lexapro about a month ago ... I have lost the lethary, but have started becomming easily irritable (over really simple, petty stuff). I could be wrong, but in my case, I equate lethargy and irritability (along with the " weepy-factor " )with depression. It's something you might think about.
