One thing I tell my husband is to remember that chances are they most likely will not contract it, but if they should, by time our children are old enough to have it, they should have a lot of research and possibly a cure by then. With dad having two brothers, one passed away from a heart attack and had some kind of dementia and the other brother having Parkinson's. My dad has both (LBD). My odds do not look very good. I worry about it skipping a generation in My family and my children possibly being a target for one or both of these diseases. Sandi, I find it interesting that your dads brother has Parkinson's.
