Guest guest
Hi Debbie--I have been looking into ileocecal valve problems and toxic bowel, etc. in conjunction with autoimmunity as of late. Trad med doesn't seem to be too interested in ileocecal valves. They can stick closed or open or be spastic. Constipation seems to affect their competency. I was thinking of getting mine tested by a chiropractor. Any chiropractors on board work with ileocecal valves, have opinions on their status, etc.? Seems like moms with ileocecal problems could have children with autoimmune diseases as I do (I have a diabetic girl). J. Re: Hypoglycemia While I do use the low carb diet for my hypo, I kept saying that I was directly as hypo as my toxicity of my colon. For example, I had to use very little animal protein to get it in control as it hugely exacerbated my symptoms due to my mercury problems:). I have since done a search on google using such words as toxic bacteria, or? pathogenic bacteria? and insulin resistance and came up with pages that state exactly this. They have done research in Japan that seems to show the diabetes/colon/bacteria link. Unfortunately, the pages that turn up for insulin resistance are not good. I have a good one but the link does not work anymore. Deb

Guest guest
Thanks for the tip, Terry. I just wish I could get some diabetes researchers to see the light on why women have sick kids (this applies to moms of autistic kids as well I think). I am wondering what condition the kids' ileocecal valves are in? There is something peculiar about my bowel situation since I have peristaltic problems, but I'm not grossly toxic. Ileocecal valves can be affected by mercury I have read, but I don't have a particular site for information on that. J. RE: Ileocecal Valve Problems Add to Autoimmunity?? You could try Bentonite.........1 tablespoon in water everyday for detox http://www.eytonsearth.org/eytonsearth.html Terry

Guest guest
I think the vaccine reactions are the tip of the iceberg--there's an insulin/liver thing going on with heavy metal detox problems (drdebe.com). I spent a summer aiding in a special ed class weeding the hypoglycemic inducing junk food out of their lunches (as Jim talked about). I left the worst food items in the lunch boxes to be sent home hoping to get a point across. One lunch made my own pancreas just about seize up--it belonged to the only wheelchair-bound child. Insulin issues, vaccines, etc. add up to a bad hand.
