I hadn't heard of mepiform so I did some quick searches. It sounds

real interesting. Have you had a problem with keloiding before?

Was this recommended by your Surgeon?

Glad to hear your feeling well enough to be out and about, getting

some sunshine. Wearing your binder and going for the best possible

scar. I can't wait to see you again and view the fabulous results!

Hugs

Jo

Dr Mizgala did not like the ropiness of the carotid artery scar so she injected

it yesterday with kenalog. The difference is amazing. Apparently she has had

good results with the mepiform, so who am I to argue. It is an extra fee, but

the stuff can be taken off to bathe, and reapplied until it wears out or smells.

her quote.. not too many people will see the scars on my nice little breasts,

but I'll give a comparison showing if requested in August...lol Betsy

Hi .. my first TT was in 97, long before I'd heard of WLS or the DS. I

had either 12 or 15 lb apron removed.. that made a world of difference in my

ability to get around, but still I needed the DS to lose anymore weight. The

next two were to get rid of some excess skin and to fix hernias. I still have

never gotten below a 34 inch waist! I still weigh 150, and have no hope of

reaching my personal goal of 135. Dr K never gave me a goal.... so I accept the

numbers and am gratefull for what I have achieved since 2/20/02. DS date. I

wish you the best in reaching your goal, and great success in getting the PS

you need and deserve. Keep us posted. Betsy
