Guest guest
But the spasms and muscle pain is annoying. Vicki, I never had any pain after my hernia repair. I just felt normal. However, after my TT, well, my one year anniversary was last week and I will never feel the previous normal. I guess it is like having a baby, you are never the same again. I am happy, thrilled with my results. Don't misunderstand me. I am just " different " now. It is my new reality. My skin feels tight when I stretch, my muscles feel tighter than before, I am numb all over heck, and more sensitive in many areas. My hip bones jut out. I love how I look, but the feeling is just different. Hope this helps. Marta
Guest guest
Hey Vicki, I am about three months out hernia repair with mesh and still have that pain your talking about. I don't know what it is, but hate it just like you. I remember lee talking about her pain after her repair too. I had the abdominoplasty over a year ago and this is nothing like that feeling, it does hurt worse. I find that it is best that I do not try to overdo anything with my abs and the doc said in a perfect world we should baby them for at least nine months to promote good healing and adhesion of the mesh. Since this is the second time it will be repaired, I'm going with babying it right now. Nothing seems to help it go away except if I stop moving. Hope this helps.
