I'm bummed! ================================ We should ALL be doing weight bearing exercise. Walking is great Your legs bear your weight, plus the impact to the bones each time your feet hit the ground benefits the bones. A brisk walk (not running) Using small hand weights and exercise the arms, shoulders... Water exercise using the water to " resist " your movements.... We must do weight bearing exercise to gently stress the bones, stimulating them to grow stronger/dense. Sorry you got the bad news....glad to hear your taking action. I'd be bummed too. You can even take a weekly dose, In the past there was bad heartburn with it and you still have to watch out for that, but you should do fine. Just do what you gotta do, just like you always do and you will be fine. Marta
Guest guest
Oh Bobbe! I'm so sorry to hear this! I don't have any experience with Fosomax but good for you for doing the research! It's always good to know your enemy. Hugs! Guest guest
I'm so sorry to hear about your family's difficulties! You're again in my prayers (and are always in my thoughts!) I guess I misunderstood and thought you were coming in March. Maybe things will be settled down by then and you'll be able to make it. Hugs!
