Misusing the constitutional amendment that gave Blacks human rights in order to give corporations all the rights but none of the responsibilities of people only happened during the Age of the Robber Barons in the 1880s. Since then they have leveraged their power to totally control us. But there is no reason not to use their own tools against them, and incorporate into co-ops to create good food, and when they try to come at us, tell them (loudly) that they are against Capitalism and they are heretics against their own True God: Mammon. Guest guest
Hi, Tom Been noodling your post around today. I worked in the farmer co-op system for 25 years, and isn’t it interesting that they, who fought so hard in the 60’s and 70’s, to fight against the corporate establishment’s accusations that they were “commies”, and “un-American”, are now the leaders in the food processing industry. Welch’s, Farmland, OceanSpray, Land O’Lakes, Cenex, Diamond – the list goes on and on – and now THEY are the establishment. They who once claimed to NOT BE part of the Capitalism system, but instead were non-profit, helping the family farmer, and being MEMBER OWNED, they were, in fact, accountable to each members. One member, one vote, was the true cooperative mission statement. Today, all the co-ops that fought so hard back in the 60’s and 70’s are in the Fortune 500 and moving quickly to the Fortune 100. They’ve turned into what they were fighting against. THEY are part of the controlling establishment that is the equivalent of the Roman leaden pipelines polluting our children, wreaking havoc with our lives……..or are they. You know what, maybe I’m getting cynical in my old age, but it isn’t unusual for people when they face their own mortality, or face desperate situations for those whom they love, that they start searching for Truth. Until then, people are busy, there’s not the time, they’re in denial, ad nauseum. It’s a LOT OF WORK, they think, to eat right. And maybe it is. Maybe it is tougher than opening a box of dried chemical junk and adding water, then throwing it into your microwave, but maybe the chemo or triple bypass surgery that awaits at the end of a string of those kind of meals will be a LOT OF WORK. Major changes that affect corporations have always been grass roots. People stop buying? Chemists start to hopefully lose their jobs. Co-ops………maybe…..maybe at least look at the structure of co-ops in the 60’s – the PAC funds, the money to lobby, the money to buy your way in………it’s all Mannon and sometimes it stinks, but they don’t care if they are heretics or hypocrites. The majority of them still are accountable to members – to the bottom line, and that’s where they need to be hit – the bottom line. Some things always stay the same……….educate the public. Talk to friends. Bring people into the loop………….with alzheimer’s, autism, arthritis, heart disease, and many other major diseases at epidemic levels, it won’t be long before they’re joining in…………..
