Guest guest
>Sooo when >you eat in the beginning it is advisable to take small bites, put >down your fork, chew well, swallow, wait a minute, then take another >bite. By eating slowly you give your body time needed to react to >the food and this can help keep you from vomiting due to eating >that " one bite too many " . Jo, Tell me about it!! I remember having some sugar-free Jello about 4 weeks post-op. Man that tasted good and was helping me get in my fluids for the day. WRONG!! Had that " one bite to many " and everything decided to vacate the premises. There went my fluid intake, not to say anything about protein, etc. I learned from that. Give myself a few moments between bites before eating some more. If I feel like burping or have that " full " sensation, DO NOT eat anything more. It WILL come back to haunt you. :-)) Jerry
