Guest guest
> Hi Mama Jo!! > > I'm doing fine!! Prior to my LBL on my birthday (11/24/04) I weighed 210 pounds and wore a size 22/24. I now weigh 180 pounds and wear a size 14. My four original drains have been pulled, but I have two new drains installed in my hips to drain two large seromas. My incision has healed nicely with very little leakage and no separation or necrosis. My surgeon removed 30 pounds of fat and skin that measured 5 feet and sewed me up super tight. Right now I feel like I have a permanent corset on <weg> > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`` WooooHoooo!!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!! A size 14,now that is sooo cool, how happy i am for you... When will we be able to see the new you???? Get those drains out and come to a meeting...You have been missed.. God bless Pat
Guest guest
For the first time in memory, I'm no longer big or fat...I'm just and it's taking a bit time to get used to the fact :-) =================================== Isn't that an amazing place to be...at a weight the people wouldn't use your size to describe you! It does take time to get your head wrapped around the reality of the new you. Thank you for updating us...I simply can't wait to see you again...When oh when do you think a trip to a Delano support meeting can be managed? It is truely one of the most special things about being able to attend the support meetings...getting to see the transformation in people. Until we meet again HUGS JO

Blue Shield has denied my appeal for arm, breast and thigh lift and I have decided not to pursue it to the state level. So I'm saving my pennies to have my breasts lifted and will hold off on the arms and thighs. With luck I hope to have girls done by the end of 2005 or beginning of 2006. ________________________________________________________- , Have them separate the surgeries and try the arm alone. Then maybe all you have to pay for is the extra for the others. I know BC will pay for arms because they paid for mine! I plan to try the same with the thighs when I get over the " trauma " of the last one...LOL. If you want to see the pics I sent BC that helped them approve mine Just let me Know and I will send them. Might give you an idea of what to do, maybe?! Mel http://hometown.aol.com/mdl1031/
