Yeah, that's really convenient. Hey, you don't even have to go to

the DMV - just go to their website and download the form.

Now, now girls and guys...we are supposed to be exercising,

especially walking, after surgery...lol...So why do we need special

parking.

Of course there are exceptions to the rule, it is good info to

have....but by far, if you walked into the hospital without a

handicap placard you should manage without one after surgery. You

really should be making every effort to take walks daily, several

times per day. It makes a world of difference in your recovery,

trust me.

D'OH! I forgot.

Actually, this came about because I have plans that are going to

fall at 3 weeks post-op and regular parking is sooooooooo far to

walk that I think it would kill me by the time I got in there.

That's all I really wanted it for. I'm sorry mom.

Hi Jo,

Thanks for the info. I am waiting for surgery and I was getting a

litle worried with all this talk about the handicap sign.
