I haven't used deodorant since surgery but changing dressings 3 times a day keeps me pretty clean...LOL I'm afraid to get deodorant into the incision/open area. And how far past your elbow does your incision go? We measured mine and it was 18 1/2 inches long from below elbow to armpit. Did your arms go numb easily post op? I wish you luck Pat _______________________________________________ Pat, Todat I was able for the first time use a large tekfa bandaid type bandage on the hips that were leaking so bad. Stompped dressings on the left arm, And Now am only dressing the right arm and the biggie in the groin. It is being packed with gentamycin soaked gauze 3 times a day(lots of gauze).
