Guest guest
In Jack's case the apathy which I am pretty sure is depression is a new twist and the opposite of what used to be a positive, cheerful, outgoing personality. I must confess that I would not have been attracted to the man now who has no interest, and finds no pleasure in anything. I have always found it challenging to be with my schizophrenic son because of his depression which goes with the disease. I spent some time with him earlier this week after not being able to visit him these last 2 months. He was so much easier to be with than my husband, and by contrast....really cheerful and positive. It was a real eye-opener for me. Kea, I enjoyed your description of your Dad and Mom regarding dinner. We have had similar scenarios here. It's a lot like raising children.....only I am too old for that! I am anything but depressed, but am seeing my husband as he really is. I am kind of in shock and sad.
