Guest guest
FYI -- Since someone asked. The Village Learning Center is located on Hwy. 59 North between Kingwood Drive and Northpark (Kingwood area). The after-school care is for Middle and High School, I believe. Day-habilitation is for adults (primarily young adults who have left school are in it now, I think). In addition to job training, supported employment, etc., their mission is to provide inclusive opportunities for individuals with disabilities in the Kingwood/ Humble /Atascocita area, so they have worked with the Y to establish their after-school program for children with disabilities (included with neuro-typical kids) and various recreational opportunities, including a summer sports-week at the Kingwood Athletic Club. We just got a new doc in the last month and before she started was known to say she was going to teach us the "right" way to do things. I swear if I could have quit last week I just might have all for her. She was on call (nights weekend) and drove me nuts. She wanted this piece of equipment we don't have that brand we have another brand well she wants her brand again I tell her this is what we have she tells me well she's an expert in this and wants her brand..well it's the middle of the night and we won't be ordering anything right now and the girls is going to deliver now so use what we have...oh well after she used what we had she like it. Then I had a girl complete who had 3 decels in the last 15 minutes...wonderful strip for hours before and she just pulls the strip out and points to the decels and looks at me..yea I see it what do you want to do about it now? they were little lates but the baby is crowning I guess she wanted and emergency section it goes on and on...sorry had to vent I'm still upset with her...as is the whole unit even makes me like the doc that I didn't like too much before.
