muscle stiffness/tension

I was wondering if anyone ever experienced this. My son has started, in

the past couple of months, walking kind of like a robot. He is very

stiff, and his arms are always bent at the elbow and appear very stiff.

When he walks the whole world can hear him, because he stomps his feet

so hard on the floor. When brought to his attention, he will stop for a

few seconds, but goes right back to it. All the while his hands are in

a fist if he does not have something in them to tap together.
