Guest guest
Hi Loretta, His A1C is high.that means that over the past 3 months his blood sugars have averaged higher than they should be. He has not been a good boy.Does he check his blood sugars everyday,at least morning and at bedtime? How is his diet and does he get any exercise? He needs to get that A1C < than 7.0.High blood sugars make you feel bad, increased thirst,up to pee all night, weakness, stomach upset and fatigue, similar to Hep C symptoms. Over a period of time, you can ruin your Kidneys, eyesight, blood vessels and loss of sensation in your feet. Has he seen a dietitian and does he have any motivation to get his sugars under control?
