Guest guest Posted July 8, 2003 Report Share Posted July 8, 2003 , Yes I got your post The thing I find is that because im a "single" parent often doctors and therapist upon first meeting automatically are biased against me. They often try and place my sons problems on my parenting skills and our financial status rather than the true problems at hand. Ive overcome it by being more aggressive and educating the doctors when I first walk in the door. Im sick and tired of people looking at the parent as the root of the problem.
