Thanks ! We will be looking into CF and Kirkman supplements

soon. We are just taking our time in testing each new treatment.

Thanks for the info!! Good luck!

I would recommend trying a trial of the Kirkmans (they will send you

a trial amount for $3.00s so that you can see if this works). We

know families using Kirkman enzymes and families using Houston's

enzymes. I have heard of success with both or a lack of success with

both so I think it depends on the child. We use Houstons

http://www.houstonni.com and have used them for over a year. Like

, we can tell when he does not get one - mainly for something

not CF. For instance, we do an occasional Pizza Hut cheese pizza.

With our enzymes we notice no difference in his behavior, mood or

language. However, when my son got ahold of some pizza at a support

group meeting... he was up the whole night laughing hysterically and

jumping on his bed (not typical at all)--the peptide high effect I

guess. Many do not encourage going off the diet even when taking

enzymes..... we seem to be able to do so but we deviate from the diet

just occasionally-not everyday and we always do the enzymes--even at

school.

Theresa,

Does Houstons also offer trials? I guess we can do Kirkmans first and

see what happens...thanks so much for your info. We right now do not

deviate except lastnight when I was experimenting with some recipes.

So, the idea that just maybe our son could have a fig or a saltine

every now and then is wonderful news to us!! I thank you so very

much!! I am going to call Kirkmans for our trials today!
