Movie expert Weatherill is featured in the state government’s 2010 Share Your Story calendar. Geoff Potter Weatherill has a special skill – he can find any movie on the shelves of Noosaville’s Video Ezy within seconds.

Since 2000 , who was born with Down syndrome, has worked at the video shop, making him its longest serving employee.As

well as providing great service, also provides inspiration to

others, which has been honoured by his inclusion in the state

government’s 2010 Share Your Story calendar. was one of 12

people chosen for the calendar, which shares the inspirational stories

and raises awareness about issues facing people with a disability.“I was so stoked and excited when I found out I was going to be in the calendar,” said , who is 30.“I absolutely loved school and my primary school teachers taught me how to read and write.

“Since

2000 I have been working at Video Ezy and I am the longest serving

employee. It is my dream job and I know every DVD in the shop.” is a Harry Potter enthusiast and loves his job “because it helps me meet lots of new people all the time”.“I

try to do my best with everything I do and I hope people understand we

are all different but, in many ways, we are all the same,” said.Robbie Candy, manager of Video Ezy Noosaville, said there were customers who came to the store especially to visit .He said was very helpful and was like a walking index of movies.

“ is always smiling and always ready and willing to help out,” Mr Candy said.“He’s a pleasure to work with and we’re really proud of him.”Acting

disability services minister Desley Boyle said the Share Your Story

calendar gave people with a disability an opportunity to share their
