Guest guest
What do you think about using Artemesia (I'm not sure I spelled it correctly) vs. Diflucan to stop yeast problems with when using the Valtrex? Our autism doctor says that about 50% of people have a reaction to Diflucan. My wife had a severe reaction to it. So, he recommended Artemesia (a natural ?whatever). Our 20yr. old high-functioning autistic daughter is on 1000mg./day of Valtrex and we would like to go higher because we feel like we have plateaued. She has been on it since April 1st. We say a definite change for the better at about 2.5 weeks. So we are thinking about going to 1500 to 2000mg/day and do 3 doses per day. I have seen postings on parent group sites that 3 times per day is better, and ou doctor says some people do that (8 hours apart). We are also doing more virus testing this time a the clinic. We know she has HHV-6 virus (15 times higher than normal). Boardwalk for $500? In 2007? Ha!
