Guest guest
***************** This is a great article from the book 'Excitotoxins - The Taste That Kills', by Dr. Blaylock, MD. ***************** I have never been much of a fan of Dr. Blaylock's book. Many of his assertions are a non-sequitur. Just because high doses of a single excitatory amino acid are dangerous, does not mean that the minute amounts that you get from a food additive are dangerous. In fact, you get more phenylalanine and aspartate from regular foods then you ever would get from a food additive. I think his work has been responsible for a lot of misinformation that has spread about food additives, particularly aspartame. Krieger, M.S., M.S.
